Pelvic Floor dysfunctions can range from slightly embarrassing to completely debilitating. Symptoms can include urinary or fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, organ prolapse, and decreased sexual function. It is estimated that 1 in 4 women live with pelvic floor dysfunctions. Know that you are not alone!
Pelvic Physical Therapy addresses a large variety of diagnosis by evaluating and treating pelvic floor muscles which assist with supporting pelvic organs, assist with bladder and bowel function and sexual function. A Pelvic Floor Therapist is specially trained to work with pelvic floor muscles to assess length, tone, and functioning.
With the proper education and a prescribed treatment plan you no longer have to suffer in silence.
